The 2024 Chevy Silverado all-electric truck is going to house impressive new features and a strong new powertrain. Developed from the ground up as a fully-electric truck on GM’s advanced Ultium EV Platform, the Silverado EV offers a boundary-breaking combination of capability, performance, and versatility, along with advanced technologies that can evolve the vehicle over time. This battery pack is expected to achieve about 400 miles of range on a single charge. Charging back up will be quick and easy thanks to the standard DC fast-charging unit that can deliver up to 350 kilowatts. Estimates show that it can deliver up to 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
The power doesn’t stop there. When combined with the available accessory power bar, the Silverado EV’s PowerBase charging system offers up to 10 outlets to provide a total of 10.2kW of all-electric power for worksite or recreational needs, including powering your home, with the required equipment. Towing is a strong suit for the electric Silverado with a proposed maximum towing figure of up to 20,000 pounds when properly equipped. Zoom down the road in ultimate power with “wide open watts” modes and achieve a 0-60 mph time in just 4.5 seconds.
Other advanced features include the famed Super Cruise system, four-wheel steering, automatic adaptive air suspension, multi-flex tailgate, 24-inch wheels, large LED screen displays in the interior, and so much more!
