What We Know About the new 2021 Chevrolet Traverse

As the third best-selling Chevrolet model, you know the new Chevrolet Traverse is going to be good! The new Traverse is back with a fresh new look and plenty of upgrades! While the Traverse was originally planned to be a 2021 model, scheduling changes due to current circumstances have pushed it back. The Traverse has now been introduced as a 2022 model, and we at Landers Auto Group can’t wait for it to arrive at our showrooms in Norman, OK and Joplin, MO! Here is what we know about the new Traverse so far!

The 2022 Traverse has a sophisticated new exterior with an updated front grille, restyled front and rear fascias, four new wheel designs and new signature LED headlamps and taillamps. Its athletic build has a more angular, truck-like appearance, hinting to its strength and performance capabilities. While we don’t know what engine the new 2022 Traverse will have, we know that the 2020 model offered a 310-horsepower 3.6-liter engine.

As for the interior, the new 2022 Traverse offers all-new seating options and an available Dual SkyScape dual-panel power sunroof with new rear power sunshade. New entertainment features like available wireless Apple Carplay, wireless Android Auto and wireless charging pad make it easier to stay plugged in without the need for annoying cords. If I do need to plug in, though, that’s no problem. The 2022 Traverse has USB ports on all rows so all your passengers can keep their devices charged and ready to go.

The 2022 Chevrolet Traverse will be safer than ever with six advanced safety features now standard on all models. These features include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlamps, and a following-distance indicator with forward collision alert. Adaptive cruise control is now optional on the LT, RS, and Premier trims and is standard on the High Country model.
